Can people with floaters wear contact lens?

I’m 21 yrs old and having been having floaters in my eyes for about 4 years now.

Is it advisable to wear contact lens?

What are the possible side effects/ or any serious outcome if i do so?

What are the precautions I should take?

Chosen Answer:

You need to ask a eye Dr. about contact lens. Floaters will never go away. The only way I manage with floaters is keep house dark, wear sun glasses when outside even on cloudy days. I don’t wear contact lens but call go go and see maybe you can.

Yes, I have floaters and contacts…there is treatment for removing floaters…but it involves removing the fluid from inside your eye…I am waiting until I have corrective surgery to have it taken care of…but in the mean time, go to your opthalmologist and have a chat.
